Our History

Since 1979, Bageard Appliance Service, Inc. has been proudly servicing the Tampa Bay Area for your entire appliance repair and installation needs. We are fully licensed to operate business in the State of Florida. In addition to maintaining proper business licenses, we maintain liability insurance, CFC Refrigeration licenses and are also fully certified with the Florida Department of Agriculture to work on gas appliances and barbecue grills. Always verify license and insurance information prior to hiring any contractor or serviceperson. Bageard Appliance Service, Inc. will responsibly provide service for our clients. Licenses and insurance certificates are available upon request.

We service all major brands and offer authorized warranty service for the following high end appliance manufacturers: Alfresco, Blomberg, Bosch, Capital, Dacor, DCS, Fisher and Paykel, Gaggenau, Lynx, Scotsman, Siemens, Thermador, U-line, Viking and Zephyr.

Our technicians are certified and factory trained, with a background check, in all aspects of appliance repair and installation applications. We go above and beyond when honoring the manufacturer's parts warranty, as well. For example, if we install a part on your out of warranty unit and it fails within the manufacturer's specified warranty period, we will order and install a replacement part at no additional labor cost to you. We offer after hours and emergency weekend service for down refrigeration units, through a 24 hour answering service. We serve residential, multi unit, condos, business offices, fire stations, rental units and many others for all residential appliances, including, but not limited to, your: refrigerator, range, conventional and convection oven, cook top, grill, laundry washer, laundry dryer, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler, disposal, and ice machine. Jack Bageard began appliance repair work in the early 1970's. In 1979, Jack and his wife, Sue started their own endeavor with Bageard Appliance Service. Even though Jack is a master technician with nearly 40 years experience, both Jack and Ryan attended annual factory service training in order to become certified for each appliance and to maintain proper continuing education. Appliance development and technology changes every year, and our technicians take pride in developing the skills needed to keep up with this ever-changing market.

Ryan Bageard, Jack's son, started fixing things at a young age. He began employment with Advanced Discount Auto Parts while attending college and became ASE Certified. He has completely rebuilt an engine in a 1967 Mustang and fabricates metal work through welding. In 2000, he began working alongside his father and very quickly mastered all aspects of appliance repair. Extremely knowledgeable, Ryan will efficiently and effectively repair the units in your home or office. Ryan will discuss any issues you are having with your appliances while offering affordable solutions.

In summer, 2013, the family suffered a great loss when Sue succumbed to a long illness. Beginning in 2014, Ryan and Corinne bought out Jack and incorporated the business. Although Jack is no longer working, the family continues to strive toward excellent customer relations and superior, affordable service. In summer of 2014, Melissa Wetterow joined the family as office manager.

How Our Rates Work

At Bageard's you can expect the fairest rate we can afford to charge. As of January 1, 2011, our minimum service call is $80.00. This includes a $55.00 trip charge and the first 15 minutes of $25.00. It is $25 for each additional 15 minutes. Should it be necessary to order a part for your appliance, you will never be charged an additional trip charge, but only for the continued time of $25.00 per 15 minutes. There is a $10.00 surcharge for gas appliances.

We are happy to match the warranty of parts manufacturers for replacement parts by honoring our labor should the replaced part fail within their warranty period. This varies per manufacturer.
